Throttle body

Just got a 52mm throttle body complete with potentiometer (?) for £60 quid, is this a good price and is there anything I could do apart from cleaning it before fitting... and is there anything I need to do after fitting..cheers

you may need it set up at a rover dealer. costs about £30. some can get away from this but some require it.

Right, cheers for that. Daft question but what are the symptoms if it needs setting up, does it run badly or not at all?

the revs can be abit lary on tick over. you may need the idal thing set up. there is an adjustment screw on the top of it. if it does run a bit lumpy turn this a quater of a turn but no more. cant remember what way to turn it though as its a few years since i owned a k series
