Viewing a ZS 115TD

Well im off tomorrow to see a ZS TD MK2.

So can anyone Diesel tell me what too look out for? If theres a common problem is there anything i can do to see if its faulty. ( MAF) ?

If i end up with a TD, What would a Decat, stainless exhaust, Airfilter (bmc, ITG ) SDI injectors, remap bring BHP wise? Is there anything else that can be done?

First diesel on the cards so a little uneducated on them.

MAF was the only thing for mine mate. Just make sure it revs smooth all the way to 4500 rpm. Any hesitancy, or it feels a bit strangled and it may be a MAF problem. Use it as a big bargaining tool, but in reality, my replacement cost me ?55.

As for the mods - I've got them all in the shed. Don't know what difference it'll make. I've read a few threads on .org etc and they have 15-20 for the SDis alone. I reckon 140 with your bits and then another 15 ish with a remap, so I reckon about ?450 will get you to around 150bhp.

I'm not sure now if I'll fit it all to be honest so if you do buy it, I've got some very clean looking SDi injectors and a brand new stainless decat if you want them. My car's running just fine without them and returning just under 50mpg.

Sdi's
Decat
Boost upper to 19psi
Remap

Will be around 150 bhp and 250 lbft and still get the same mpg as before If not better unless you floor it

Air filter makes hardly any difference

My old 45 had 157 bhp and 260 lbft when I had it on the rollers
