Exhaust question.

My exhaust has been blowing since i got the thing, we found what we thought was the problem and welded it up but it is still blowing, blows when hot not cold.
seems to have been located to the centre box bit.

I have twin exhausts on my car and they go into one, then there is the bit thats blowing, then the cat

Im unsure if the bit the twin exhausts connects to is stainless or normal.
Ideally i want it straight through with no cat but funds don't really alow for that,

if the centre bit is stainless where do i get one from, the twin exhausts are longlife.

or shall i get a OEM bit? I do not want the car any quieter!!

or if i get decat ect would it get rid of this bit or does the cat connect to the bit thats blowing, i can not tell if its one part or 2.

if its blowing it probably isnt stainless, stainless however isnt magnetic so can put a magnet on it see if it sticks to it
