NGK platinum spark plugs

So I gave the Zed a service yesterday, done the oil, filters, plugs and a new set of brake pads. I got NGK platinum spark plugs for 17 quid for 4 plugs when they should be 17 quid each. After a quick search on Google I found out they supposedly last 100,000 kms/60,000 miles. Anyone know if this is true?

Platinums do last very well, yes. 60,000 seems reasonable for a good set of plugs.
