Cheat low mileage.

Whilst driving in the snow I thought id pull the fuses on my ABS and noticed the speedo stopped working as apparently it runs off the ABS sensor. Although this did mean that for the week whilst the ABS was off I didnt put any miles on the car! Surly people could use this to cheat the milage. Obviously not recommending it just an observation.

afcbadam is on a distinguished road
this happened to me in my transit van my mile counter and rear lights stopped working which i didnt know, for some reason they are wired together, speedo worked though. i only found out when i compared my latest fuel receopt to my old one and my mileage print out was the same. i had done about 450 miles that were never counted. luckily my company has to get milage print outs or i may not have known for a lot longer
