you know what, I would love to invent a device that you could aim at a car and when you see the driver on the phone or texting, it fired the airbags. I would be constantly triggering it.

See it all the time and it's not just young drivers. Still see loads of people talking on mobiles even though its points and a fine. They should make it an instant 28 day ban. That might make people take it a bit more seriously.

or maybe reuse parking wardens to photo drivers using there phones and drop them a fine in the post.

hmm. a colleague of mine got a 2 week ban in Germany for touching a hand held device whilst driving

See drivers on the phone on a daily basis who do not look like they give a damn either.

Problem is these drivers aren't getting caught.

i am a biker too, i ride a bright yellow RF 900, and still they dont see me because they just HAVE to catch up on the latest facebook status of their BFF. makes me so raging. I took a phone of a knob head in a golf the other week and tossed it up onto the trailer of an empty truck from poland. guy in the golf got held up at the lights as the truck drove off and down the slip road to the A452. made me laugh, how the old bill havenet been round yet i will never know.

I see this everyday at work the window looks out straight onto the main road cant belive how many people I see on there phones makes my blood boil .

They seem to be an American thing from what I've been reading

On the civic you can press a button on the steering wheel and request it to. Call for example Bob and it will call Bob

Imo it's not aimed at any age group it's a part of modernisation these systems are in place in Ferraris paganis koniseggs already you won't see your average Chav in one of those

Also imo again a great peice of kit and very handy
