Anyone ever used this?

Was sorted out the garage of the last of my tools to take with me to bristol when I came across a tin of this....

It definatly isnt my dads as his car is never washed let alone waxed, Assumed it must have been my grandads, and as he always used to be driving round in classics Rolls or bentleys thought if it was good enough for him then it should do for the zed! Had never heard of it but it said it contained carbunara wax and as ive never hard waxed the car thought Id give it a try, It had a price tag on it of £3.75!!

So after a wash and a clay heres what I was left with...

Im well chuffed with the results, and was only looking at buying some proper wax this week! well that saved me £30 result

Wink

Must have been your granddads, I used to use it, solid brown wax, rub it on and let it dry, then rub like mad with a soft cloth and you get the fantastic results that you see on your car.

You will also find that it lasts quite a few washes, beads up when it rains, also builds up the shine level every time you use it.

Dont use it when its really sunny as it takes a lot of elbow grease to shift it and get a shine. Keep the lid on tight as the wax used to dry out.

You should have saved it for the antiques roadshow, that tin looks ancient.
