Well, couldnt even shear the exhaust bolts! (Backbox to mid)

I put the rear onto ramps, soaked the nuts/studs in plusgas and left for the night. Got underneath full of optimism this morning with a massive wrench, took so much rust off that after initially struggling to get a 17mm socket on them, one was eventually 14 & the other 15. However, all I succeeded in doing was to start rounding the nuts. Not seen studs used for these before, which got me thinking, could they be LH thread?

Havent got nut splitters, or a blowtorch! Or a grinder!

Id buy them, but the MOT is on monday, had to bite the bullet and ask them to fit it. I hate having to resort to the garage!

Indeed, incredibly frustrating having a whole tool-stores that I am unable to use on the car! Those pesky flying bricks!
