It will deffo not fit. I bought a kit the other week and it came with the 48mm bulbs, they hit the reflector stopping them going all the way in. I had to buy the shorter bulbs at great expense on top of the original kit so now I have a useless spare set of bulbs

Like I say though, I cant comment on the MK2s.
