how to re-cored? take the bumper off then the radiator off?

then use some material to fix the leaks?

Recoring is not something you can do yourself... you need to take it to a specialist to recore it for you...

How is the re-cored(reconditioning) cost comparing with replacing the old one by this

If you have a look around your area for a car radiator repairer, they de-solder the header tank and the bottom tank, Then they put a new core in between and solder it all up.

Its usually the core that gets blocked, doing it this way you get all the pipe connectors and fittings the same as your original rad.

Shouldnt be more than a new rad and can be cheaper.

There will be a scrap value on the old rad, whatever way you go.

the area of the radiator in MK2 is strictive...compared with mk1, so the airbox is rubbing the rad
