Exactly, it might be higher road tax, but you are probably paying "too little" for the car in the first place, thus evening things out... And with car tax going up all the time for older cars anyway... Buying the car plus 6 months tax in June still means you've got a 4 yr old 180 for less than 4K, a great buy considering its age / condition / spec
