service/cam belt

got my car back today after having a service and cam belt change.
It cost me £720 there was other things included in the price.

theres more but cant remember as not got invoice yet
when got full invoice i can give full breakdown
it took him two days to do it and he said that he wont be doing another one.i even supplied the locking kit for him

What! I hope he did a lot more for that price! Why didnt you do it yourself if you had the locking kit?!

Hate to say it but you have been stiffed there. I was only charged £350 inc pump, today it is around £400-450 max. You supplied the kit as well, not as if he needs to make money back for it if his. As long as you are happy I guess.

the main dealer that i normally use wanted to charge £900 just for the belt change.

i did not do it myself because i do not have a four poster to put the car onto so you can get to the crankshaft pulley and also there is another car on the drive
