Door Handles same but different price?

Is it just me or are these two door handles from the same supplier the same with different prices and titles?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REAR-Back-...19660000&rt=nc

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REAR-Back-...item19dcc2bebe

I have read somewhere that there are slight differences between the Rover 400 and ZS handles but judging by the pictures and description these are the same item.

I'm in the process of repairing my rears but the plastic casing is quite badly cracked so thought I would buy new and strengthen before fitting. I know these are not colour coded but thought I would see if there was a noticeable difference on PBT

I've bought some of them to replace my rear handles. A few things I noticed....the colour isn't much different to PBT, the 'cup' behind the handle is deeper which makes fitting a complete arse, the spring is not as powerful as an OE handle.

They do the job but aren't great so I'm waiting till better weather and some time to fettle mine more.

Did you have the rear security plates on yours? I'm wondering if these were left off then the 'deeper cup' would not matter, could the spring be swapped with the stronger one on the OE handle?

Good to hear that the colour is almost a match for PBT though, I was a bit worried it would be too noticeable.

Thanks for the offer but I have ordered some now, although if they don't fit I may well be in touch

Just FYI Dave - Both fronts have been repaired by myself, security plates were left off. Was going to do the rear's with the rear electric window install..... But it started raining

Hi Dave, both rears now done, bought the handles off ebay in the end but removed the original handle pulls and fitted to the new handles, all strengthened before refitting. All seems strong and secure although there is a slight colour mismatch as the handles were a flat black rather than metallic, hardly noticeable unless you're looking for it although may strip and respray at some point in the future.
Oh and are you sitting down.....................I fitted the Extreme Spoiler ..............couldn't resist
