Motobuild

Has any one here had any problems buying from motobuild? I recently bought (three weeks ago) a decat pipe and still aint got it. I have obviously been in touch and have had several different stories as to why this is. First it was a mix up with dispatch at the supplier then it was his fault and recently its due to someone else who used to make the part but isnt there any more and caused another delay!!!I have bought from him before without problem but this is now taking the p*%s. Normaly i would go for a refund but i desperatly need the part and the last response was it should get to him today! I had a full cat-back system built from scratch in four hours, i only want a wee tube with a flexi-pipe fitted! I hate complaining but what should i do? Does any one know him so i can pay them to go round and poke him with a stick?

Fiew people have had problems with getting wrong lowering springs from them and parts ment for ZS turn out to be Civic parts that are not usable on the ZS without having to adapt them.
Although you may hate complaining it's the best thing you cab do, get straight on to them and stick to your guns, dont give up without a fight.

Yet still no pipe from the above and funnily enough no contact either. Was told by email that he would have it on Tuesday. I'm guessing the steel is coming from the moon to be processed in china then sent to Canada via Norfolk and then to motobuild.

Do a google search for 'Motobodge'

That should answer your question.

In a Jim Royle accent - "Specialists my arse!"

sounds like I have some fun ahead then lol. New pipe arrived today from moto-build finaly so all systems are go! I heard somewhere that undoing the bolts in an exhaust is easier when its hot due to the expansion within the different metals, not sure on this one but might try anyway. Many burns on the way.
