what would you have?.....

.... if you had £1000 to spend

1. exhaust system inc sports cat and manifold
or
2. piper 270 cams

exhaust 5-10 bhp or cams 15-20 bhp

You should have done this as a poll buddy

I go for option 1.........no point doing cams if you are gonna have a restriced exhaust system I'd have thought......although it may make the car more toruey trying to force out the gases harder....

By the way.........in each of those cases you will be looking at more than £1000 I am certain

Jim

Personly I would do the exhaust first to set you up for when you get the cams, the exhaust dosnt strangle the engine that much but its nice to think your getting the most out of the cams with the exhaust being nice a free flowing....

P.S. sorry didnt see the post already up saying about the chocking exhaust system but yeah my thorghts exactly

Does the 1k have to be spent on 1 of the 2 things on that list?

PS - Added a poll as well.
