MG ZS mk2 K Turbo

My K Turbo is up for sale, looking to go back to a v6 (one in particular)

Car is currently on 85250 miles, the engine was fully stripped and rebuilt when fitted just over a year ago. Its running 135 cams and the 52mm throttle body along with the VVC inlet manifold. Sytec fuel pressure regulator. The head has been ported to match the VVC inlet, this was done back in Feb this year as well as having the headgasket done, belts and water pump.

Originally it came with a Kmaps ECU but after numerous claims of bad Air/Fuel ratios I decided to ditch this and replaced it with one done by an agent of Matt Reidy.

I have recently replaced the standard Blow off valve with the uprated direct fit Forge item which gives a lovely pschh noise. Also replaced the cheap ebay silicone vac lines for proper rubber braided ones.

Without a rolling road numbers are pretty meaningless but talking with people with similar setups this should be producing in the region of 210bhp @ 12psi and 200ft/lbs of torque.

Interior has a digital boost gauge, Pre Project Drive blue monacos which are in very good condition with very little wear on the bolster and are a whole lot more supportive than the later seats. Also has the nice black oak dash.

The car started its life as a v6 so comes with climate control and the v6 brake setup.

The car is MOT'd until the 15th August 2017.

I'm looking for £1995

Looks nice. Not tempted to put it on rollers? Always best to get a printout if it's a conversion I reckon.

Thumbs up

Nice car , why do you want to replace that with a low powered KV6

Have to agree with Paul, the turbo version is one superior spec ZS MGR should have made and has so much in its locker for future mods. However I also have a soft spot for the KV6 version so understand somewhat. Glad I have both in that respect. I guess the V6 you have in mind is rather special?

Yes I wouldn't be moving it on for any old v6

That's a stunner of a car, and I'm seriously tempted.... but alas I can't justify the expense to have a third car..... even if my "main" is still sorned!

I'm sure it'll be snapped up pretty quickly tho!

Nice, if only I'd got the room. Love my ZT Turbo and always wandered what a ZST would be like. Saying that, I doubt it matches the V6 for sound
