Dealer's being very quiet on it, but having had it for a few months and a few thousand miles they are not be interested in helping out cost-wise. I've logged a formal complaint with the dealership and waiting for some feedback.

To cap it all - another fault - electronic steering lock - came on today.

Booked in for Wednesday but it'll be the third time it's been into the main dealer in as many weeks and it's getting a bit tedious.

Sounds about the right time to get back in a...........................

Hmm, £600 worth of investigation and no guarantees, I'd not be happy.

It's mostly labour Pete ... 3 hrs + at MD rates ... to dismantle, deal with what they find and then the rocker cover requires a new gasket when they put it back together and they are just short of £100.

All they do is follow a flow chart - do this - do this - and if the fault still comes back - do this - do this etc....
