My New ZS

I recently bought an MG ZS. As the my ZR isn't used for my daily runner, I used to have a Fiesta Zetec-S but I needed to change this as I will be doing 100 odd miles a day soon driving to college each day and won't be able to afford the cost of petrol, I was in need of a diesel to save fuel.

So...I went on the hunt for a ZS diesel, I was also considering a ZR diesel and a 206 but I had the chance to own another MG, I couldn't help myself!!!!!

Found a ZS diesel located in Portsmouth, about a 3 hour drive from me but I was prepared to travel because there wasn't any ZS diesels near me.

Went to view it, paid a deposit and picked it up on the way back from a trip to London.
I don't think it has been looked after very well, but for the price I paid, and its in the hands of an MG Enthusiast, it will get the TLC it needs.

Anyway....got it home and started to work on the paint as it was really dull.

Shortly after picking it up, I was shocked to see the huge difference in paint condition compared to my ZR!

I then got to work with the first treatment, Snow foam

Clayed, just from drivers side wing!

I bought a set of straights to replace the hairpins, they were cleaned with Iron-X before going on

Front badge was changed

Interior was cleaned

The car before fitting the straights

During

The car was then given a second treatment with this little lot to bring the paint to life!

And the results, already looking much better. It will be getting another treatment in a couple of weeks.

The ZR came out the garage for a few photos!

I'm also picking up a front splitter and skirts this week
