Rust all along the back of the roof line is one reason. I can only assume that the previous owner has removed the back window to tint it and the window hasn't been resealed properly and it's rusted all underneath the seal and along the roof line. Clutch has a judder, cat has a bit of a blow on the flexi, water ingress into the offside sill which has now flooded the car twice, I've had water in the drivers footwell as well, the clutch is on it's way out and the gearbox has a whine as well.

I could sell the car as it is and get nothing for it, or brake it for spares which will be more beneficial to me. The engine is strong with all belts/tensioners done a couple of months ago, oil pump and gasket, new VIS - the list is endless.

It's a hard decision, I advertised my green one on here a week or so ago realising that I'd be commited to do the work on the XPG one, but the quotes to get the roof sorted were astronomical because of the work involved, the clutch/gearbox I could do myself but then I have to source another box - it's a right dilemma. The Sheddist kit has also almost failed (must be the first one!) so would also need new clutch hydraulics.

It's amazing how quick these things add up! I've even considered what Smokey has done and turn it into a track car "for the South" - Brands Hatch/Lydden Hill etc. Just put some sticky tyres on and away you go!

Gutted, but that's the way it is I guess.

I know how you feel, my yellow was the same.

There have been a few Sheddist failures but only a handfull.

Blade9274 is on a distinguished road
Another 180 going its a sad sight, I am struggling to get mine back on the road.

I need the front near side drive shaft as my inner CV has gone .

Bought 2 so far, one outer CV failed as soon as weight put on it, received another today, wrong part in box
