Sounds better than 'Project Manager for the refurbishment of Council offices'. Forget building anything, more like PR representative / whiping boy / nanny to 800 odd members of existing council staff who'll moan when the temperature varies more than half a degree away from the 22 deg norm. Look out if we drill a hole and make a noise!

The refurb is simple (bar the excitment of no records of which electric circuit goes where - keeps the sparkies on their toes), the politics requires the patience of a saint..............and I've got six months to go...............and it's wearing thin.

Can think of many worse jobs to be doing though...........and a few better ones
