This is the same one that was on E Bay..... it sold for ?1000 and the seller wanted a 4X4 .... very strange

?1595 looks a tad optimistic with 100,000+ miles, no mention of service history, or belts being done.

Well spotted that man........ and why would it need a new engine at 55,000?......And what exactly does he mean by NEW engine ? one from a breakers ? a "recon" from some scallywag off E bay ? ... I suspect a proper MG/Rover supplied new engine would be thousands.... far more than that car was worth @ the time
