Mk1 TB ZS180 - Now sold.

Gauging interest really.

Thinking of selling the ZS180. I'm now cycling to work to kick-start the old ticker so it's currently sorn, although it has a MOT until May '14 (will confirm).

Force air feed intake which sounds great
Stupidly large rear silencer, which also sounds good
Oil catch tank fitted
VIS motors working!
CD Player with USB & MP3 input (woooo!)
Body work in very good condition, with a few "trolley dinks". Could do with a new grill, as someone tried to steal it!
Has a very intermittant misfire when hot. The head gasket has NOT gone!
She drives really well, no knocks or bangs at all.
Everything I have ever done on the car is on this forum, so feel free to have a search.

The car would make an ideal T16 conversion, I would even throw in a decent turbo bottom end & head for free

Got to be worth £600 of someones money?

I'm located on the south coast, 7 miles south of Chichester, so feel free to come & have a look.

Thanks chaps. I'm still undecided really to be honest. I love the car as it does make me grin. It's just weighing up the pro's & cons really. No way on earth will she be broken, I will keep her if there is no interest

I hate how you can buy a car like that for the price of a set of tyres. looks stunning, you (your students) certainly take care of it lol

Quick update:

The car has sat for 2 weeks without being touched. Went out to her this morning, fired up no worries with the first flick of the key. Ran up to temp, held revs at approx 3-4000 rpm for 10 mins. Both fans kicked in, no overheating & cooling system working as it should. Revved engine up & down, all smooth with no misfire. Let engine idle for a further 10 mins. Revved engine again to around 4000 rpm & she cut out. Started straight away & ran fine. It did this once more over a period of an hour.

I'm thinking cam or crank sensor.

Not sure whether to keep her, or whack it up for £600.

Arrrrrrrgh!!!
