How easy would it be to fit one of these in a ZS180 only i'm getting fed up with the gutless V6 and want something that can actualy pull the skin off a rice pudding. At least a Turbo can be tuned to get good power.

, what is a 54 plate 180 worth ?

Hmm, not a lot is it ? Been looking at Mondeo ST220 3 litre V6's. Can pick up an 03 plate for about 6~6.5K. They can be tuned far easier than the KV6 and can be tuned to about 280bhp NA safely or turboed like they do for use in the Noble, well the sky's the limit !!

Anyway, sorry for hijacking this thread, just really disillusioned and peed off with my ZS at the moment

Have often thought about doing this convertion myself. T series is an excellant engine, and if the uprated pistons are fitted bullet proof.

Good luck

Just remembered if you are going to put this t series in your zs, make sure you get one from a Rover 600 ti, and not from the 800 vitesse as the sumps are different and the bolts that hold them on are different too. 600 ti engines sump has the lower engine mount on, and the 800s sump is cast steel one
