Question Wanted-rear speakers for saloon

Since I rebuilt the interior I no longer had my rear speakers as sold them some time ago when I initially stripped it.

So what have you got? I don't want to be cutting any holes so after something that will fit in the standard aperture.

Or recommendations on what to buy and what not to that won't break the bank, hate going to Halfords as all the speakers on display mean nothing to me and not heard of 99% of them!

Just need something to boost the sound as the front door ones and the tweeters are not man enough to raise above the Janspeed and de-cat!

Not sure what you're after - or what your budget is.

Even at Halfords you can go down there and press the buttons to have a listen. Take a favourite CD down there and have a listen.

The last set I had fitted were these - not by Halford - but as recommended and fitted by an in car audio specialist.

Awesome mate - I promise you ...... They slotted straight into my Mk2 saloon so you'd need to check they were the same in the Mk1 - but I would imagine so.

Sounds like the aperture will need to be enlarged, don't really want to be messing around with that tbh. However I maybe inclined to do so if worth the effort What are they? Also got any dimensions for the rear so I can compare?
