hmm. I assumed the exhaust manifold came in two sections from what Sam said

It's the exhaust manifold that's blowing

Yeh ive got one. Only fault is the two little tabs on the side have desolved. Cat is good and there are no leaks or holes

None really. There is a bracket under the engine that bolts to them tabs. If your mani has got to the point where it has failed them tabs will be long gone.
