I was apprehensive before seeing it was a catD.
Might be worth a punt but I'd gladly pay more and wait longer for one that was presented well and wasn't cat D.
The mk1 one I have now is just about pristine apart from two carpark scuffs on the front bumper. So I'm in no rush.
Think I'll pass this one up.

Because when we had a motor trade a lot of cars/vans/lorries/buses made in or around Birmingham.

To keep the sales figures up, lot of manufacturers would pre register cars, or have them as demos that went to the sales outlets.

Down here we see loads of BX reg stuff, just round the corner is a LDV van. Saw a bendy bus that was painted up with the Bournemouth Uni logo.

Just have to look at the SV's loads BX.

The 180 is still a 180, the T16 was a 110.

You're right about the BX plate, towards the end MGR registered loads of cars to themselves to make it look like they were doing better than they were, especially as they were in talks with the Chinese at the time

Mines was a BD and has nothing special quite the opposite in fact even down to the post cat o2 sensor having a bodged crimping job on the wiring.still love the thing though.

defo ex mgr staff car with that reg couple my friends had them as company cars from mgr only know this cause i am from that side of brum originally

Mine didn't have any toys... well it had parking sensors but that was about it. I put the extreme spoiler on myself
