Tyres

The tyres on the 180 are 205/45-17.............I know the middle number is the aspect ratio, ie percentage of height compared to width. What would happen if I fitted 205/50-17's? Would it make my speedo run slow, as of course the wheels would go faster...........?

Only asking cos at work we getting rid of 15 Uniroyal 205/50-17ZRs as we have changed tyre suppliers and uniroyal and contis have been replaced by Pirelli and michelin......................

Speedo reads 70mph your actual speed will be mph 72.33 Most speedo's seem to under read so my "guess" is it should be acurate.

How cheap

Also it will jack the car up 21mm. The down side...
