Good luck Scott.

MG's have always been my passion and the ZS goes so well and looks good.

For 10 year old, plus, dont think you can beat the ZS's.

a defo think you will miss the zs scott, ive had many cars, mainly vauxhalls, nearly every model, swapped my vectra 2.2 for my first zs,ive never went back,im on my 3rd zs,and had a zr,even miss my zr at times, but the prices of zeds are a joke, and everybody underrates them, love ma zs,for the price range you would be lucky to get a corsa, you get a lot of car for your buck, good luck with the new car,but everybody has there reasons to change cars, stick around aswell mate

That'll change when you get a nice new car outside. After a while you may start to miss it, but that will depend on what's replacing it. There's pro's and con's with every car.

I know it's hard. Just recently done it and I do miss the raw driving experience. But I am really pleased with the motorised settee feeling of the Merc and no gear changes to do.

Took the Gte up to Tetbury C.C Show yesterday and how raw was that? Nice to jump back in the Merc this morning.

I've driven plenty of cars - brand new VAGs, pugs, toyotas, volvos, even a new M3 and Im always glad to be back in my ZS.

As stamford said earlier, its all about what you want out of the experience. The ZS is a driver's car with little compromise to comfort etc (especially over pot holes...), it may not be the fastest car with a million bhp but its got enough power to have some fun and you feel like part of the process - its enjoyable to drive. A comfortable motorway cruiser is probably on the horizon for me, but I expect it to be in addition to the ZS, not a replacement.

Oh, and the ZS doesn't have a little computer screen telling you to change up a gear. That really drives me bonkers.

I'm new to the MG scene. I stubled onto it completely by chance
I've been members of other car forums, but i've never seen anyone as passionate as you lot .
I've got the baby 120, yes it has its little niggles.
I would love to try a 180, even as a passenger, so I can feel the difference in power and hear the imfamous v6 roar that you all mention. Knowing how light the ZS is, and based on how nippy I personally find the 120, the 180 must be on another level.
I'm glad I stumbled into the ZS scene, and hopefully i'll be here for a while
