I'm looking at getting new bulbs also.
Are the bulbs a direct replacement or have you had a HID conversion kit fitted?

I fitted HID's to my Mk1 recently, all fitted fine using H7R bulbs, wasnt very impressed with the light to be honest, does look good though but think if i were doing it again id just upgrade the bulbs!

I agree with the above, I took my HIDs out and fitted Phillips Power Xtreme which are brilliant.

I ordered my set today to be fitted on Boxing day. I'll be leaving mine in such a position so that the normal ones can go back in for MOT time.

I have Philips Xtreme all on 4 of my lights. They are that good on mine that I hardly have to use the main beam.
