So what was the ZR at Zed10 then? £5k for something that isn't 100%, lost its appeal and originality.

Being really blunt about it, its a crashed 160 with different colour pannels and big brakes. If the faded xpower sticker under the bonnet makes it worth 5 grand then fair enough but I wont be buying it. Dont get me wrong though, it looks like a nice enough ZR.

I believe the Judd engine was ripped out by MG Rover before it was sold. As above simply a 160 with a few rare extras

Rumour has it no cars were ever fitted with Judd engine. They were just 1.8 VVC's with a sticker. Apparently Judd never developed an engine for MG-R? Thats what some members on .org have said anyway.
