x power grey (how many shades???)

this may be a silly question? but is there different shades of x power grey?? as i orderd a touch up stick from the dealer to do slight scratch i have on the bumper ,and it seems to be realy dark??my car is a 04 reg mk 2 and the paint is in immaculate condition so it cant be due to fading,any ideas anyone ?? cheers ,

I believe there are 3 shades of xpg. Further than that I'm not sure.

3 Shades of XPower Grey

All with the paint code though - LEF

All depends on what MGR used on the day your car was painted from the factory, the OE paint might have been Sikkens, DuPoint or Standox

First Ive heard this.
So for LEF paint code is it different shades for different years ?
Is there a LOT of difference ?

Yeah, the shade will be either darker or lighter, thus not matching the other panels on the car.
As for colour in different years then there can be a difference, not a lot you can do really, you or the bodyshop should perform a swatch test on your car before any base coat is applied.
Its the same as Trophy Yellow, there is 6 different shades available.

mines alot lighter than the colour they sent ?is there other greys than x power ??

XPower Grey and Tempest Grey 2 are the same though.
