Newbie daft question : Bodywork.

My newly acquired ZS 180 has plastic plugs in various points around the body i.e all doors, B post, front of rear arches etc. The only time I've seen these in the past was either for a Dent Magicians shaping tool access, or when a car has been rust-proofed. Can I assume that they are for factory applied rust proofing fluid ? I've contacted the previous owner who says he didn't have any after-market rust proofing done. Ironically I was up at my local breakers yard this afternoon and noticed the same plugs on a Rover 45. Any help appreciated while I learn

Ok. Got that. Seems like a convenient place to stick the Waxoyl spray tube into though, so I may buy some new ones from Rimmers "just in case" , and get the pump fired up
