Question Pollen filter recommendation

Well it's time for a quick air system service so have ordered a bomb to clean out the bugs etc but there is a myriad of pollen filters on eBay and not sure which one has best balance of cost vs price. Sure I got a wi once and fairly had to crush it to get it to fit (didn't have plastic frame). Who has used what and which fit best please?

How much do xpart charge for an oe one ?, that would be my first choice if it isn't stupidly expensive, some of the ebay ones have been a bit hit and miss with fit and quality.

I got mine off ECP and it fit no problem at all this time.
Last time i had to cut a bit off the top so don't know if they've changed now.

Get an oe one - with MG packaging - that's what I did after buying a cheap ebay paper bit of rubbish.

Sure it was from these guys.

R8NMG will become famous soon enough
The frameless are fine too. I use these ones now and no problem. This has reminded me to get one.

As an aside, when I have had the air con on and stop and switch off the car I get a kind groaning/brummin type noise from the bulkhead area, any ideas on the cause? it is only when I have had air com on and it stops after maybe 30secs to a min, gradually too

Not too sure on the noise, could be the fan slowing down, it might be worth dropping the fan to make sure it turns freely, other than that I don't know.

Cheers Pete, I wouldn't think it would be a fan as I can hear them doing their 'sighing' noise at the front and the cabin fan is quiet at all other times. Thanks though
