Looking for the part that holds the cubby hole under the steering column. Cheap and local preferred. Assume it's the same in the mk1?

Guess that they would be the same on the rover 400's right through mate.loads in the scrappies down here including that mk2 180 hatch that your bumper came from.

Yep I sure did ste,but bought in error as I thought the it was broken.turned out to be one of the hinges,so i now have one spare if anyone wants it.
