cool, thats nice power for a zs especially with the turbo torque.....any plans to go any further with it ?

That is one cracking MK2 turbo!!
Very nice indeed.
Engine rebuild?? how many miles has it done in 8 years? This just sounds like a exscuse for more mods...

Well, it did about 40k in my 420, it was then transplanted in to the zs in 2009, so it probably has about 60k total.

I've been collecting bits for a rebuild for a while now, brand new crank and shells, oil pump, it would be wasteful not to use them

You still on std pistons?

I will be doing a o-series turbo rebuild build soon. Was running about 280bhp on twin carbs before it blew the headgasket out the side of the engine (literally). Its been sat im my garage for ages now.

Was going to say I have a block thats been honned and had wire ringing done but im sure the o-series block is a little different to the T16....?
I have a few sets of o-series mahle pistons as well if you were interested.

Yes, standard pistons, they're fine as long as you keep inlet temps under control, and don't stray over 12psi for too long.

I think to use O series pistons I'd need M series rods, and I'm leaning towards forged rods and pistons with dta management.
