Does the car have the wiring for rear windows? Got a set of rear electrics sitting here waiting for my rear doors to turn up thursday
If not now is the time to fit it if you are planning to fit them.
Yep fully wired up, its an 04 reg same as my mk2!

I've got a kartcher steam vac which I have never used so time to bust that puppy out!!

Non stop indeed Peter, how about some more?

Typhoon paint turned up today so had a quick test on an old anthracite door handle as the base coat needs to be black and the colour match is spot on!

Right, got busy with the vacuum after work. The carpet will be coming out and properly cleaned at some point as per Mick and James but will do for now. As the main aim is to get the car on the road for starters I don't want to go mad only to find it fails the MOT needing tons and tons of work.

Anyway, half done

Finished, it looks better for real, the camera makes it look worse honest!!

Also I was moving the seats earlier and another few pennies fell out so upto £4.22 now lol.

Getting all new discs and pads fitted tomorrow and if I get a chance the new seats will be going in.

Also had a text from the courier and the typhoon parts will be here between 10 and 12 thursday! Mega excited!!

Hopefully should be all good, I have moved the car and the brakes work as they are but really with a proper restore it needs a fresh set. The handbrake does also work to an extent, n/s wheel is solid when applied but the o/s has movement.
