Metal kick plates

Car I'm picking up on sat is an 04 plate so only has the plastic kick plates, do they have the holes underneath for the screws or do the screws just go into the plastic?

I wanna take my metal kick plates from the yellow and transfer them into the new zs.

The holes are there already, you just need the plastic inserts for the screws, which you should be able to salvage from the car the strips are being removed from

I have fitted mines last week-end, and use some wall plugs instead of grommets. Do the trick, well fitted.

I did this on my swap from my mk1.
Pain in the bum getting them and the old ones on the mk2 out.
A pair of bent nosed pliers would have been great but I couldn't find mine.
