Painted brakes and center console :)

Finished off my brakes yesterday with some "Xpower" vinyl, front and back. Painted them about a week ago. They dont show too well in photos but they look ace in the flesh!

-------------------------------------

And today I fitted Smokey's old center console, after sanding and respraying it a few days ago (needed a touch up).

Before:

During:

After:

Im well pleased with it Not sure what to do about the ask tray... might leave it as it is, or could spray it silver or black... at the moment it breaks up the silver a bit which I like.

Ignore the state of the inside of the car btw, havent given it a clean out in a while!

looking good dude, I've got some of those sticker too that need stuck on at some point! They finish off the red nicely

Nice work on the console too, but please don't leave the ash tray like that, it looks well naff! Like you couldn't be bothered painting it!

All looking good fella. As others, the ash tray would look much better if the same paint finish as the console.

I guess I'll be doing the ashtray then I thought it looked OK... breaks up the silver a bit, but yeah I guess it does look like a half arsed job. I might photoshop it black to see how that looks, otherwise I'll do it silver. Easy job anyway, slides right out =)

Cheers again Smokey I actually re-sprayed it with some hammerite smooth, just to take out some of the small scrtaches. Well pleased with it though

Also I have enough of those calipers vinyls for another 2 cars if anyone is interested . So far they seem to be dealing with the heat and such - as they are supposed to.

Thanks I used a brush to paint mine, I find is easier than having to tape everything up (or remove the caliper). I think [this] was the paint I used - good price and so far has been faultless. Same result as the Foliatec I used on my last car I'd say.

The exhaust is an Xpower one (so I think that would mean its a Janspeed??). Its not too loud, but certainly lets people know you've got something special under the bonnet

Tis a Blaupunkt MP66 Its one of their USB range, cause thats how I listen to most of my music Sadly no harddrive, but I could connect one up through the USB apparently. The sound quality is superb IMO! Before this one I had an MP47 (which I still need to sell), which was good too.

Also if anyone fancies a set of the vinyls... £1.50 for a set (incl postage). They are [this] type. As you can see you get 12 from ebay so I have 8 (2 sets) left
