jesus man, that must have been absolutely terrifying... horrible story, wouldnt wish it on anyone.

incredible that you managed to get out, must have taken real mental strength to cope with the situation! i hope you recover from it all ok and a dead zed seems a very good outcome for the situation.

all the best and i hope you enjoy christmas whilst making a full recovery.

OMG.......You are one lucky git. I'm sure you feel more sorry that you havn't got your car anymore , but just thank your lucky stars that everything worked out and you are ok. With zeds being so cheap i'm sure the insurance will go some way to helping you get another one.

thanks for all the kind messages guys, just glad to be here for christams with the kids and wife. Slight morbid facination, but as soon as i have pics I will put a few up. Did find out today that the insurance company will only pay out £200 for personal belongings!!! that will only just cover my sunglasses let alone the sat nav, stereo speakers or my 110 cd's!!

Nevermind like you all say they are replaceable!

Yikes! Sounds like the kind of accident that most people dont survive!!! Thank god you were able to get out!

Try not to worry about the money side too much... it sucks to end up out of of pocket but in the big picture youre extremely lucky overall. Hopefully the valuation on the car will be better than average to compensate for the personal belongings.

One very lucky escape there, hope you are okay and don't get delayed shock.

Why did it take the emergancy services an hour?
