Cheers for the comments guys more pics to follow, did however manage to break the rear door handle today (exterior) so not a happy chappy

Think its quite a common fault, was looking for old threads as I'm sure I have read a "how to" somewhere.

Think the plastic threaded part on the backing plate of the lock comes away. Plastic weld or araldite the cracked bit back, or a nut that takes the screw.

Or another trick is to get handles of a 400 series from the scrap yard as they are stronger.

Thanks for the advise have seen somewhere about 400 handle being stronger so that's what I'll end up getting
