Rev it and see what lights change.

At idle both red lights should be on. A rev should put both reds out and both greens on.

If a green is on at idle, it could be wired up incorrectly, or one of the motors is stuck closed.

As Nor suggested take it for a run and see what happens but it sounds as if you may have discovered a fault.

I have it all fitted, great kit, thanks and I'm 99% sure I've wired it correctly, and I'm 100% sure I have a VIS issue as I have no kick at 3k and it rattles like a bag of spanners. Anyway, this is what my lights say....

////red green green red

idle: on on off on

<3k: off on off off (i.e. plant my foot)

3k : on on off off

4.3k: on on off on

Hmmm, would appear to have issues with both motors??? reds work as they should but have one motor with the green light always on and the other always off.

Any advise? Cheers.

Yer sounds as if you have faults with both motors, Id suggest you have a read through this thread may give you some guidance of how to go about fixing them

Yeah just had the balance motor unit off the car. Can move the valve arm and hear the butterfly valves open and close so maybe just a dodgy motor. Had a go at opening up the motor unit but can't see me achieving that very easily, seemed pretty solid :|

Sounds like that's the power motor you had off. Balance motor is the harder one to get to, on the side of the plenum.

Warm the unit with a hair dryer to soften up the seal, prise the lugs round the casing gently and prise up all round, it will come just go easy at it
