BD Engineering did a superb job on my mk5 Escort 1.3 fitting the K&N filter and tuning her up........

The Land Rover Disco 3.5 V8 we had, had numerous problems with running rich and missfiring...........they never found a problem with it even though it was 100% guaranteed there was one.........

In the end he took it one day and drove it for 10 miles........on coming back and us collecting it he said there was no problem with it and running really nice and clean.........he didn't charge us and sent us away.......

Turns out a few weeks later that the battery died and when we went to replace it........the battery had broken down and the plates were bobbing about and causing the missfire.....

the overfuelling was never solved as earlier this year it got a little dented

Back on topic..........good to know a rough idea of power figures dude as always.........but as far as I am concerned if you enjoy the car and feel it is powerfull enough as you want it to be then thats perfect

Jim

Already been through the whole stripped out thing with the misses. Unless i get another car or she passes her test and gets one then it ain't gonna happen. But really want to do it.Would really make a difference.

With regards to the power it is quick but i really need to see if i can get it back up to what it was whaen i had it re-mapped at 211bhp. Think it might need to be done again.

it wont do anything murray ,thats just the difference between rollers ,270 cams are getting fairly common now and 206 bhp is what they are generally making with manifolds fitted too.Mine made 212 and 200 on different rollers with exact same spec.
For trackday just remove spare seats ,sparewheel etc ,run with half tank of fuel ,empty your washer bottle ,loads of little things you can do and only takes 30mins to prep and you do see a noticeable difference.

Yeah not expecting much dave. Really need to get to a reliable set of rollers to get a proper figure. When i had a problem with the mil light coming on my dash before, it dropped the bhp by 10. I know it's not a lot but when you've payed the money you expect it to stay there. Need someone whos willing to re-map it for free to see if it will change, then pay up if it does.lol
