New Pics, Custom badges

As per title really, this is what the front one looked like before, all faded:

Removed from car and masked up:

Primer:

Coat of black:

2 coats of laquer:

The rear was more tricky as it hadnt yet faded so I scraped off the laquer and set about polishing the paint off... with oven cleaner as I couldnt find the autosol :

Half done:

Then just followed the same process that I did for the front. I think they came out well.
Completed front (masking around edges removed:

Completed rear:

How I stuck them back on:

What you all think?

Looks good, not over the top or garish. I like your scheme.
I think your black wheels suit the car too.
Next have you considered R45 headlights or darkening the oem indicators (in keeping with the black theme)

No scrap the darkened indicators, go for R45 clears. I think it help strenghten the red and black theme by taking away the orange.

yeh, im deffo going to have a bash at de-orangeing the lights. I will have a try with mine and if I fail get myself to the scrapyard for some 45 ones. Ive heard that its a fiddle but they do come apart with a heat gun. Its a wierd one though because in the flesh the orange lights dont look out of place, they just look terrible in the pics!
I was also going to do the mesh black but I think it ties in nicely with the chrome in the badges now.

personally i think the red looks better with the orange indicators, thats why i havnt done mine. i have seen a red on in person with R45 lenses and it makes the front end look very skinny and not right imho
