Best way to remove CV grease...
From most of the engine bay?
CV Boot exploding at 50mph does this...
Best way to get rid of it? or just rag + elbow grease = shiny shiny?

A mix of washing up liquid/car shampoo/swarfega, to a nice 25/50/25 mix, dilute with a little water in a spray bottle, leave for a bit, then wipe off with a rag, and then rinse with a pressure washer, then wash again with your normal car wash routine, then rinse again, keeping particularly away from electrics etc.
The washing up liquid contains salt and other degreasers, the swarfega contains orange oil, and the shampoo contains cleaning agents.

I was told never to power wash in the engine bay because of the damage it can cause to the electrics, my mate power washed my rad in the MGB and we spent the rest of the afternoon trying to get the fins sorted as they all got squashed flat.
