Phate is an unknown quantity at this point
Maybe it's just me that would never ever pay that much for a 1.6 then. And I'm not snobbish about engine size at all, the Tomcat is a 1.6 - I just think you can get way better ZS's for that kind of money.

Do people really check markings on bolts when buying a car??!
£2300 is more realistic.

Talking

Don`t do it mate!

Your ZS looks ace in black & with the big boot spoiler looks the part, its a backward step in my view to come from a face lift ZS to a Rover 45...even if its a 45 V6 it just don`t hold the appeal that an MG has!

Also when it comes time to sell it surely an MG will be more sellable in the future than a Rover 45?

Just my 2p`s worth, your choice though mate!

Ive never understood why people make car adverts saying "I might be selling" either you are or you arent lol. Plus you say that the rover might save you money but it really wont, they are almost as bad on fuel as a 180 but handle like a bardge, fine as a cruiser but not really a 17 year olds car. I learnt the hard way and bought a v6 75 when i was 19, not a good move, lost £500 in the space of 6 months. Dont they only do the v6 45 in an auto?

Just had a quick look at one and they do 10 mpg less than your current car both extra urban and urban and its only 0.4 seconds quicker to 60. Granted it will have much more torque though.
