Wink

Sure your right, our guy swore by them. He had a set of spanners that were more like ring spanners but had a ratchet inside the ring, so if you can get over the nut little movements did/undid. Always thought they didnt look strong enough to put the right torque on, but must have done the job. Others were angled to get at difficult nuts, not like my big, old, open ended spanners.

I was amazed when I was working my boss told me that my tools were insured for only £500! I was in a different trade and used to use festool stuff all the time which you got to give it to their german designers, they'd thought of everything! And the abuse the tools would take was unbelievable! Like you say they are invaluble as with out them got no income!!

Not like my Nu-tool disk grinder/cutter £5 from Macro, put any pressure on it and it slows down and stops!!!

I used to have a Snap-On account more than 20 years ago, back then there wasn't much else to buy. Prices were okay back then, but now there are plenty of others out there offering the same quality for alot less.

I don't have as much as I used to, thieving bastards decided that for me, took a whole box, MIG 130 Turbo and my specials. Never replaced them.

Just got a beat up box I used when I was racing, seen better days.
