2LV6 Engine in the ZR
was looking to down size to the MGZR and come across the 2L v6 150bhp but never thought they done an engine like that and was wandering what they are like and if they have any problems

As far as i am away they never did a V6 in the ZR.. V6 was only found in the 45, ZS and ZT(T)

funny you should say this but i have come across a few old rover and zr's with the v6 its smaller than the zs one

The only other V6 i know of is the 2.0 KV6. Which was in the 45 and 75.

a couple of people have put the v6 into a zr but its tight, the 160 would have better perfomance than the 2 litre anyway its a 1.8 vvc
the zr engines are 1.4 1.8 1.8 vvc 2 litre l series diesel
zs 1.4 1.6 1.8 2.5 2 litre l series
zt 1.8 1.8 turbo, 2.5 v6 and bmw 2 litre, nt seen any 1.8 turbo zt's actually just 75's

this is a very late zr its on an 07 plate but the torque a a v6 would it be better than the vvc plus there is 10 bhp inbetween both of them. i like the sound of a v6 and think it could be quite an east tunerble engine as in cams maybe a small super charger

unless it's a different manufacturers V6 then it will be no more tuneable than the 180's tbh.
Whatever zr's your looking at they are conversions, throw up a link for us tae have a gander at

its the same block as a kv6, so not that tunable n pretty much a one off car if it is a 2 litre kv6 in a zr, never seen nor heard of one before
