I wasn't, my family don't understand my OCD tendencies and think all cars just need to get you "to A and then B".

My Dad is a mechanic, now a MOT tester.....he's 62, and just painted the calipers, and lowered his 58 reg Passat on eibach springs.....my older brother has always been ocd on cars too.

Nowt wrong with Ocd tendencies lol......you should see how clean and tidy my work van is.

Option extras of electric sun roof, electric rear windows and rear head rests. On 78k miles.

I knew the Cambelt, brakes and tyres needed doing. And knew the costs involved. So far, including buying the car it owes me about £2550. Which is fine by me. It's a solid car and well worth it. I now have a sweet running, clean, tidy car within my budget.

Always wanted a ZS 180, after my ZR and I'm now a proud owner of one.

People may call me mad, but I don't care lol......would rather have this than a rusty banger for the same money I've spent.
Can't argue with any of that, I've spent thousands on these old Rover barges over the years. Safe to say a drug addiction would probably have been a better financial investment.

lol.....it's called being a enthusiast.....would rather drive this and spend on it, than some of the modern cars about. Sold my 2010 Focus tdci, and replaced it with the ZS. Was a nice comfortable, economical car. Just no fun or character.

The Infinity speakers in the parcel shelf, fitted by a previous owner were past there best.

So got a pair of these. In Halfords reduced from £45 to £36 then down to £30 with my trade card.

All fitted, sound loads clearer and look loads better too.

The car looks good!!! It would be interesting to see what's the best speaker we can get in without cutting the shelf, standard 13cm?
