Sunspot preservation

So I have this mk1 sunspot 180. Turns out it's quite rare and has a pretty good history so it's worth preserving seeing as so many of these cars end up in the hands of people who can't afford the upkeep or don't realise how much they cost to run, I can't blame them! What a car for sometimes pennies! This is my second ZS, the first died of catastrophic rot on the chassis due to poor build quality, the aim of this thread is to raise awareness of the unseen horrors that can easily be found on these cars if you know where to look, the steps to take with a well documented how too and hopefully your pride and joy (as well as mine) will live for a lot longer than it otherwise would have. Pics to follow this evening!
