Accepted an offer on ebay

I've accepted an offer for the ZS on ebay, does that mean the other person is contracted to buy the car now?

Oh, and the ad was a classified ad.

IIRC as you have accepted the offer it is now up to them to send you the money or arrange collection.

If I were you though I would send them a message and ask how they wanted to proceed with the purchase of the car

Thanks, I've sent a message.

In one way, if it goes through I'm happy, but in another a bit sad as I enjoyed driving the car. I had to drive 30 mile in it last night and really enjoyed the power.

I'm off next week so I don't need a car, and I've still got the TF to get me around providing it doesn't snow much.

The person sent an offer, within 5 minutes I accepted it, and I've heard nothing now for a couple of hours.

What to do is email him with you mobile number and tell him to phone you or email asking for his contract number so you can arrange collection then see what happens maybe give him till the weekend and if still nothing go to town with him with eBay for time wasting.

I've had that with cars before on eBay.. Anything else and it works a treat but cars seem to attract a lot of hassle.

It does seem that cars on ebay attract a lot of messers, either making offers and you never hear anything else, or winning bidders that never complete the deal

The buyer rang me, is paying by paypal now and collecting tonight.

So that's it, looks like the ZS is going the journey

So now I'll be back to driving around in the TF until I sort out a new car.
